JUNIOR CHURCH

We have three groups of young people meeting together here each Sunday during the 10 o'clock service at St. John Baptist Church.

The youngest group, called Sunbeams, range in age from toddlers to 6 year olds and we meet together in the Jordan room. We enjoy hearing stories about Jesus' life and God's wonderful world. We play games, take part in fun activities, create masterpieces and sing songs.

The leaders are:- Diana, Angela, Sarah and Jenni.

The Key Stage 2 group of children aged 7+ to 11 are known as Trailblazers. We meet in the Bercul Room during the 10am service to learn and find out more about the teachings of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. We enjoy a range of craft activities, share our news and have fun together.

The leaders are:- Emma, Margaret, Jenny and Selina

Cushion Club - We are the teenage group of secondary age pupils who meet in the Vestry during the 10am service to catch up and discuss the issues that concern us. We discuss world news and follow this with discussing related bible passages. We very much enjoy meeting together and planning future fun activities.

Cushion Club leaders are Sarah and Helen.
